1. Oprah is back!!! Am I the only one excited?
2. Just a few more days till the Janet media blitz begins... including appearances on Oprah and the Today show and at least 10 magazine covers... lets up this album does better than the last.
3. What the hell is with this Chicken Noodle Soup song? After many years of my mother, aunts, and uncles saying you don’t know what real music is… I finally agree. When some nonsense that should be banned only to be heard during a Campbell’s Soup commercial… was 1) ever recorded and 2) gets a video… there is something wrong with music today.
4. Why is it when people owe you something they come up with every excuse in the book (like your issues are my problem)... and then get quiet? Just be real and say fuck you, you ain't gonna get it!!
5. Whomever that is over at the Georgia Aquarium reading this blog... can a brother get 2 free tickets? (Don't worry about how I know you are reading just email me and let me know!!)

12. I am very proud of my undergraduate alma mater Auburn University for their brilliant start to the NCAA football season with a number 2 standing and a 3-0 record. WAR EAGLE!!
13. Why do I find myself watching Flavor of Love with my friend Damian every Sunday? The entire time criticizing anyone for degrading themselves in such a public way… but yet since I am watching hasn’t VH1 accomplished their goal??? Or maybe not since we actually TIVO it and fast forward through the commercials… we will call it a tie.
14. Why did I apply for a job in May… and they call me today asking if I am still interested????? I mean seriously. Shit how much you paying cause I am all about the dollar!!!
15. 4 more weeks to my return to DC for the Sexy Party… oooo yes!!!

Michael Knight... OOOO YES I wish they would kick Jeffrey off his attitude on the show, while good for tv, shouldnt be rewarded with a show at Bryant Park.
I was told that the four of them are doing a collection for Fashion Week. But they all know that one of them are already eliminated and they have to fake pretend that they are still in the running. I hope its Jeffrey. I defintely want Michael to win .. but I truly think that they will give it to Laura.

i personally feel Jeffrey had a good showing during fashion week. Heres my rundown. Uli gave her usual Uli dresses (I dont think she was one of the final three, hers was the decoy collection). Laura did her "everyone should dress in a after 5 cocktail dress" look. Michael did "I am channeling Kimora Lee Simmons for Baby Phat" only Kimora does it better. Jeffrey toned it down, added bright spring colors and made a wearable interesting collection that was fresh and surprising. I hear so much about how Michael should win and I think he is a excellent designer just as the next person, but are we rooting for him because he is the best or because he is black. I dunno, maybe its just me and my taste and to each his own.
i myself have attempted to avoid most of the publicity around last week's showing... however i did see some of the photos on Olympusfashionweek.com...
for me I am not rooting for Michael because he is black I am rooting for him because I think he has been consistently talented and his style seems to match what I think is hot at this time.
Besides Jeffrey's attitude... I am not into the whole rocker look, I think it is played and hasn't evolved much since the 70s. So I guess that would make it almost classic, but yet not my style.
I cant understand why I love Flavor of Love either. The bafoonary is off the charts but Ive watched every episode. And now that NY is back. omg.
I'm excited about Oprah, too.
When people don't comment...I don't like it either.
And your items 10. and 13. are related. Watching "Flavor of Love" is like slowing down to look at an accident.
