I am so feeling this Washington Post article, Hey! How Are You? Long Time No Speak... Since Tuesday I have had 11 requests of people asking to crash at my spot.
Now if I had a palatial estate in the suburbs with staff, I wouldn't mind accommodating most of the requests... however I live in a one bedroom/ one bath apartment about 7 blocks from the National Mall and 10 from the Capital. And being an only child who never had to share... I am really selfish about my space, and who I allow in it.
But anyway I see that I am not the only Washingtonian getting calls and emails from people I haven't spoken to in years.

Personally, having lived in DC for a number of years, inauguration day is probably the worst time to be in town. I'd rather just watch on tv.

I dont think it will be the absolute worse time but regardless of the hassle and traffic... this will be the March on Washington of our lifetime i plan to be there in the midst!

LOL Dammit, Reading that has made me feel a little guilty about me call to crash with someone in DC.
In my defense though....I was told "anytime you want to come you got a place to stay." And that's right around my birthday! =)

LOL Oh and don't let being and only child be a reason for being a Spoiled brat...lol learn to share more....
Ah can I get an invite to the party too...a brother needs a back up plan too! =)
